The Collusion – A Cocktail for Today

This drink starts out as a Perfect Manhattan (developer) but the substitution of Orange Bitters (because Spray Tan) and Vodka (because collusion, yo!) creates a fresh take on a venerable, if now almost unrecognizable, American institution.

Of course you’ll want a cherry on top. But you won’t get one until Mueller finishes his damn job!

The Collusion

Add to a cocktail shaker filled with ice:

• 1 oz. dry vermouth (preferably Noilly Pratt)
• 1 oz. sweet vermouth (preferably Noilly Pratt)
• 2 oz. vodka (preferably Stolichnaya because Putin)
• 2-3 dashes orange bitters (Bitterman’s is our favorite)

Shake it like hookers jumping on a Russian hotel bed.  Strain into a cocktail glass but skip the garnish until the impeachment.  Best made in large batches to share with friends or drink alone, straight from the shaker, in the dark, watching CNN.
